Your most important access details, documents and emergency information remain stored locally – structured, encrypted and readily available at all times.

Target groups

StickSafe adapts to your everyday life – with clear solutions for different requirements.

  • 50+: Security without technical stress
  • SMEs: keep critical access offline
  • Law firms and medical practices: structured protection for sensitive data

Why StickSafe?

Your most important data remains offline – under your control.

  • Stored offline & encrypted
  • Access only with master password and PUK
  • Website and software can be used in multiple languages (suitable for international use)

Safety report

Data leaks show that reused passwords are a major risk.

  • Billions of access details are circulating for automated login attacks
  • Reused passwords → faster access for attackers
  • Strong passwords stored offline significantly reduce the risk

StickSafe protects your most important data like a Swiss bank vault – offline and encrypted.

  • Online banking / Insurance / Health insurance
  • Identification cards, contracts, powers of attorney
  • Emergency information for relatives (contacts, notes, procedures)

  • You choose the medium yourself: USB stick, external SSD/HDD or (micro)SD adapter.
  • Recommendation: high quality (reliable, durable).
  • For large amounts of data: ideally USB 3.0 for noticeably better speed.

  • Documents & passwords: 8–32 GB is usually sufficient.
  • Many scans/photos/PDF archives: 64–256 GB recommended (depending on size).
  • Large projects/teams/backups: more like 256 GB–1 TB (SSD/HDD rather than a stick is preferable).

FAQ:

Why are automated attacks so common today?
Automated login attacks run around the clock. Attackers test stolen credentials en masse on many services (“credential stuffing”) – without any human barriers.

Why is password reuse so dangerous?
Because a single leak is enough: if a password works somewhere, it will automatically be tried on other services. This quickly turns a single incident into a chain reaction.

Are “complicated” passwords automatically secure?
Not necessarily. The decisive factors are length and genuine randomness. Patterns (“Summer2026!”) or “logical-looking” variants are often easy to guess.

How exactly does StickSafe reduce risk?
StickSafe stores your login details and documents offline and encrypts them. This reduces the risk of online attacks and allows you to retain control over where your data is stored and who can access it.

Do I need the internet or a cloud for StickSafe?
No. StickSafe is designed for local use. Your data remains on your USB medium and is protected there.

What happens if someone enters the master password incorrectly multiple times?
After five failed attempts, access is blocked. Unblocking is then only possible with the PUK – this prevents “trial and error” and unauthorised access.

What is the PUK – and who should keep it safe?
The PUK is your emergency key for unlocking your device. Ideally, it should be kept by a designated trusted person (e.g. solicitor, trustee or internal responsible party) – separately from the master password.

What happens if the USB stick is lost or stolen?
Without the master password (and, if applicable, the PUK), the data cannot be used in any meaningful way. It remains encrypted and under your control.
